WSK Medical and Slide Score have been awarded the MIT R&D grant from the Dutch Government
The province Noord-Holland and RVO have awarded the MIT R&D grant for improving WSK Medical’s AI digital pathology toolkit and further enhance the automated AI analysis pipeline in the Slide Score platform. The aim of the project is to further validate the automated pipeline of AI algorithms in the Slide Score platform with specific focus on the CORRY prototype for colorectal cancer. The current CORRY prototype will be made available in the Slide Score platform to validate and further enhance the integrated digital pathology AI toolkit that WSK Medical and Slide Score have been working on the past years. The project will be the next step in working towards a fully integrated digital pathology workflow for cancer detection.

“This funding will allow us to further optimize our annotation and image analysis workflows, bringing the benefits to both new and existing customers,” Slide Score’s CEO Jan Hudecek explained.

Marius Wellenstein, CEO of WSK Medical: “We are excited to enable further adoption of Artificial Intelligence solutions to enhance analysis of cancerous tumours and connect each component in the pathology workflow into a fully integrated and comprehensive solution. We are thrilled to be able to do this with a great company like Slide Score.”
